Know your gaps before the surveyor does.

I don't just audit care centers. I run one.

Compliance Shield is a mock-survey audit led by a nurse who has run what you run: Adult Day Health Care and In-Home Care today, and assisted living and memory care communities as administrator. You leave with a score, a findings breakdown, and a written plan of correction you can act on Monday morning.

Sound familiar?

You built a care business to serve people — not to lose sleep over a binder.

01

Your state survey is coming and you honestly don't know if your files would pass.

02

Your policies came from a template and were never checked against your state's regulations.

03

Training, TB results, and background checks live in three different places — or nowhere.

04

You've written a plan of correction under pressure once, and never want to again.

19 of 20 SC adult day care facilities

A 2025 federal audit found problems at 19 of the 20 South Carolina adult day care facilities it visited, with 204 instances of noncompliance in all.

Surveyors are paying attention. Your center should know its gaps first.

On-Site. On the Floor.

I walk your center the way a surveyor will.

Files, floor, staff, and participants are reviewed in person and scored on the spot. You get a clear score, a breakdown by category, and a plan of correction for every finding.

Your Auditor

I didn't learn compliance from a textbook. I've lived it.

After 32 years in nursing, I built Angelic Services, Inc. in Gaffney, South Carolina — Adult Day Health Care, In-Home Care, and Non-Emergency Medical Transportation under one roof.

Before that, I served as a Certified Residential Care Facility Administrator for a 100-bed assisted living and memory care community and a 60-bed memory care community. I've worked side by side with state inspectors and written highly successful plans of correction. I know what surveyors open first, what gets written up, and what a plan of correction needs to clear a finding.

Compliance Shield is the audit I wish someone had handed me when I started. It's thorough, it's honest, and it ends with a plan — not a lecture.

Questions owners ask

Is this a real state survey?

No. It's an independent consulting review modeled on how surveyors work, so you find and fix issues before an official visit.

Do you work outside South Carolina?

Yes. Compliance Shield serves care businesses in South Carolina and Florida. Every audit is built on the licensing standards for your state and license type — South Carolina Department of Public Health standards or Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) rules. I spend part of every month in Florida, so Florida clients can book an on-site audit during those weeks or a virtual review anytime.

How long does an audit take?

Most single-site audits are completed in one on-site day. Your Shield Report and plan of correction are delivered within 5–7 business days, depending on the number and degree of findings.

Have you written plans of correction for real surveys?

Yes. As an administrator and owner, I've worked side by side with state inspectors and written highly successful plans of correction. Every Compliance Shield plan of correction is written to that same standard.

What do I need to have ready?

You'll receive a document request list at booking — personnel files, client records, policies, and logs.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Client and staff records are reviewed under HIPAA-conscious procedures and never shared.

Walk into your next survey prepared — not hoping.
